Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

This policy describes how FamiGo (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use famigogames.com, including the marketing site, game catalog, and browser games.

Who we are

FamiGo is a multiplayer browser game service. The public website is famigogames.com. For questions about this policy, contact us through the email you used for a paid plan, or the contact details listed on the site if we publish a support address.

Information we collect

Gameplay sessions

When you create or join a game, we store a session code, display names, game type, and the state needed to run the match. Guest play does not require an email. Session tokens identify your device in that match.

Accounts and billing

If you buy the unlimited plan, we collect the email you pay with, send one-time login codes to that email, and store subscription status from our payment provider (Polar). We do not store card numbers on FamiGo servers.

Device tokens

If you enable notifications on a supported client, we may store a device token to deliver them.

Ratings and play counts

We count started matches and may store optional star ratings so the catalog can show social proof.

Logs

Servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, error traces) to operate and secure the service.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel (European Union data hosting) to understand which pages people read and which games they start. On public HTML pages Mixpanel may autocapture clicks and record a session replay of that page. Inside the games, the client sends named events (for example that a match started) with a random device identifier. If you log in with a paid plan, we link those events to your account id, not your email. We do not send display names, join codes, or one-time login codes to Mixpanel.

Cookies and similar storage

The marketing pages may set cookies required by the site. The game client stores login tokens and preferences in the browser (including localStorage) so you can stay signed in on that device. You can clear this data in your browser settings.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense on public HTML pages so Google can show ads and verify the site. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can learn more in Google’s advertising policies and ad settings. Gameplay screens are not where we place ad units; the AdSense script may still load on public pages for verification.

How we use information

Sharing

We share data with processors who help us run FamiGo: hosting, databases, email delivery, payment (Polar), advertising (Google), and product analytics (Mixpanel). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and other players.

Retention

Game sessions are kept as long as needed to operate recent play and abuse review, then removed or anonymized in the ordinary course of operations. Account and billing records stay for as long as the subscription and legal bookkeeping require. You can stop using the site and clear local browser storage at any time.

Children

FamiGo is designed for mixed groups and keeps game content clean, but accounts and purchases are for adults. Do not create a paid account for a child under 13. Parents who play with kids should stay in the room.

Your choices

Guests can play without an account. Paid users can request account-related changes by contacting us from the email on the plan. You may also use browser controls to block cookies or ads, which can affect how pages load.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
