Card Games
Card games are the temperature of a night when the shouting is done and you still want a winner. They ask for a table, hidden hands, and enough patience to wait for a pass. Card games for groups fail when too many people sit down. They also fail when the physical deck is missing a nine and everyone has a different memory of the house rules.
FamiGo’s card title is Perfect Deck. You are collecting four of the same number. Hands stay secret. When you have five cards you pass one or dump it into the pool. You can Spy on another player to see how close they are — not their actual cards — and you may spy on each opponent once, when you choose. First to four of a kind wins. You do not have to perform the win.
Two to six people can sit at that table. Solo mode with virtual players exists if you want to learn the rhythm before friends arrive. Use it when you want a card night on phones, with a win condition that does not depend on whose uncle taught the “real” rules.
How a FamiGo card round should feel
Sit. Put other phones down if you can. Spy on purpose, not as a panic click every turn.
Four people is the classic shape. Three is still a table. Six is the ceiling. After that, split or pick a party game.
Perfect Deck is FamiGo's card game. You are trying to collect four of the same number. Hands stay secret. When you have five cards you pass one or dump it into the pool. Two to six people can sit at that table, including a solo mode with virtual players. Use it when you want a card night and nobody packed a physical deck, or when the group is done shouting and still wants a winner.
Why groups still want cards
Card games give a table a shared object that is not a video. Hands are hidden, so you lean in. Turns are short if the game is short. The night gets quieter without becoming a movie. That is useful after a party game, and it is useful when the group never wanted a party game. Four people at a table is a shape humans already understand. You do not need a new identity to sit down.
Digital cards earn their place because everyone already has a phone. You do not need a complete physical deck, and you do not need to agree whose uncle taught the “real” rules. Open Perfect Deck.
Spying in Perfect Deck is a once-per-opponent tell, not a license to hover. Use it when you need the information. Using it as a panic click every turn makes the table noisy and the tell worthless. The game is collecting four of a number. The spy is a tool. Tools are for decisions.
What this page is
FamiGo’s card game is Perfect Deck. Two to six people. Secret hands. First to four of a kind. That is the card table on this site. Partnership bidding games and a junk-drawer deck are a different night, and they are not in the catalog.
What is not a card game
Trivia is not a card game even if your childhood quiz box had cards. Hidden-role swaps are not a card game in the poker sense even though Outbreak uses secret cards. If you wanted party energy, go to party games. If you wanted a four-person plan, stay with games for 4 people.
How to sit a card table that will actually finish
Clear the plates. Fill drinks once. Agree that this is the game, not a game while also watching a show. Split attention is how a twenty-minute card round becomes an hour of “whose turn.” Perfect Deck is short enough that you can finish. That is the feature. If someone needs to leave in fifteen minutes, say so and pick Number Jump instead. Starting a card game you cannot finish is how people decide they hate card games.
Two players can sit. Three is a real table. Four is the classic. Five and six work and feel crowded in a useful way. After six, you do not have a card game. You have a queue. Split into two tables or open a party title that seats the whole room. Hosts who try to “include everyone” by cramming eight people onto a six-max table include nobody.
Solo practice with virtual players is for learning the pass-and-dump rhythm before friends arrive. It is not a substitute for the table. If you are actually alone and wanted cards, play it. If you are waiting on people, wait. Starting without them and then resetting when they sit down is how you teach them that they do not need to be on time.
When you are ready to play, open the FamiGo catalog, pick a title, and share the six-letter code. You do not need an account or a download. If you want to browse every guide by topic, go to Guides.
